I just had to put that out there. Buuuuut I don’t want to accept that fact yet, so I’m doing a review on the most summer-ish lipstick I have. It’s the Catrice Ultimate Colour in the shade 210 Pinkadilly Circus and it screams summer. It’s this bright light pink and what a surprise-it’s not matte (but I do mattify it with baby powder only because I like bright lipstick matte better. I do wear not-matte lipsticks, do not worry)! I would probably never buy it myself, but I got is as a birthday gift from one of my best friends and I could not be more grateful.

It’s concisency in very nice and it applies well, but it comes of kind of shiny which I don’t really like with bright lipsticks. And once matte, it stays on forever. And we all love that, now don’t we? And I’ve found that it doesn’t dry up your lips at all so that is a biiiig plus.

Here is how it looks on me:

And as you can see, it’s very pigmented. I do find that it doesn’t show off as bright on me as it does on some other people, but I’ve noticed that by almost all lipsticks.

This is a lipstick I wouldn’t wear to school just because it’s too bright and it pops out and has that BAM BAM POW that isn’t really appreciated in my school so that would be a bit too risky, but I would definitely wear it for a day or a night out with my friends (maybe not on a date if I planned to kiss the guy, you know, if I had any dates). And if you’re like me you like to stand out all the time and so that is the perfect lipstick for you to wear during spring or summer.

I hope you liked this post. If you have any recommendations or requests on what products to try in the future, feel free to leave it in the comment section below.

Have a lovely day,

yours truly.
