February Favourites

Did you miss me? I know you did. The details of where I was are not important though(  😉  ). The point is that I’m back and better than ever.

For my first article in two long months (I know, it sounds really bad. I’m very sorry, but in my defence, it’s my mom’s fault (also mom please don’t kill me when you see this)) I decided to share with you my favourite February products ’cause believe it or not, there are A LOT new things to share.

So let’s start with an easy one. A new mascara, and yes, I had to. Doesn’t matter that I have 8 other ones already…

It’s the Rimmel London Wonder’full Mascara with Argan Oil. I’m pretty sure this is the best mascara I’ve ever owned. If you’re looking for a new BOOM-CHING-POW-BAM for your eyes, this is it. I know I say this for every mascara, but this one tops them all without doubt. This is the first time I bought Rimmel products to try out and I’m sooo so happy with the quality of them, you’ll definitely be hearing more about those. Back to the mascara, the packaging is very pretty, a kind of bronze-something-something, but that’s not the best part. The brush (is that what the part for applying mascara on you lashes is called? I hope so.) is so amazing! I don’t know what it does to my lashes but it’s… just… ugh. You know what I mean. It’s not clumpy and bulky and it leaves your lashes with that natural everyday look after just one layer, but if you’re going for the dramatic-lash look, just apply a few layers more and there you go. I feel like this is a bit much talk about a mascara, but I really can’t express how pleased I am with it.

On to the next product, also by Rimmel London (I told you you’ll be hearing more) the Lasting Finish Skin Perfecting Full coverage Foundation with Comfort Serum in the shade 103, True Ivory. Quite the tongue twister, but worth uit. I wasn’t sure I’d like this that much knowing my skin breaks out easily and this is a full coverage foundation, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried it out. It didn’t cause my skin to break out at all and it doesn’t feel like you have any foundation on at all. I don’t wear it daily just because I don’t do my makeup every single day, but when I do, I definitely use this one.

Next on the list is a lipstick I never thought I’d like this much, I just bought it because of the colour. I don’t really think I’ve ever been so suriprised with how long a lipstick lasted before. It’s the Essence Matt Matt Matt in the shade 02 and yes, it really is matt. As I said before, it lasts for soooo long! The shade is the perfect mix of pink, red and brown and it has become my new signature lipstick.

Another lipstick I’ve been wearing for these past few months is a Kylie lipstick in the shade Leo. I’ve already done an article on Kylie lipsticks so click on the pictures below for more.

I’ve been loving me some glitter recently, but I like it in small portions, so I’ve been using the She stylezone glitter eyeliner, but rarely as an actual eyeliner. I like to put it on the inner corner of my eyes, because I find it works better than just highlighter itself, and of course, I like to be special.

And of course this will not end with make up. I have to throw clothes in here, I can’t dissapoint you like that.

The first piece of clothing I’ve been loving all troughout the winter is this big black (I know what you’re thinking, you dirty-minded perv, you need some Jesus.) plain coat. It’s not the warmest, but I spent most of the winter inside studying so that wasn’t a big problem.

Another jacket is this blue one I found in my grandmas closet. It’s been to cold to wear this in the last month, but the weather is warming up quickly and I’m sure I’ll be wearing this A LOT.

Also a not-so-new-but-you-haven’t-seen-it-yet-piece of clothing are these black kind-of jeans from H&M. I’ve always loved H&M jeans because they are affordable and very comfortable, which is, to be honest, all I really look for in a jeans pant. (If you are somehow confused, the jeans I’m talking about are the ones on all the pictures above.)

And to finish this perfectly, I have to do it with a perfect product, which would be my new phone case. You do not understand my obsession. I know it’s not anything special, but God damn it feels good to have a nice phone case after six months. (What happened you ask? I discovered AliExpress, thank you Lord.)

I hope you liked this post. If you have any recommendations or requests on what products to try in the future, feel free to leave it in the comment section below.

Have a lovely day,

yours truly.
