Recently, I’ve purchased a lip kit from Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner just to see what all the fuss is about. The shade I’ve got the lip kit in is Candy K and I couldn’t be happier with my choice.

It’s a neutral nude-ish brown shade, but it can sometimes come of pink as well. It all depends of how much lipliner you use or don’t use.

The lipliner is very smooth and creamy and easy to use. I find that it’s maybe even too creamy, because if I don’t have it completely sharpened i can’t get a completely precise line, so I most of the time use concealer on the outside edges of my lips. I recommend filling the lips with the lipliner so that the actual liquid lipstick has more staying power and applies more even.

AND ALSO, IT SMELLS SOOOO NICE (which is always a great plus)!

It smells like vanilla and it’s actually a very strong scent, but after the lipstick dries on your lips you can’t smell it anymore, so it’s not at all distracting. It definitely stays on for a very long time, you can eat, drink, kiss with it and it will not come off. I would say though, if you do eat something more oily and greasy it tends to fade a bit.

I would most definitely recommend it to any of you crazy matte lipstick lovers out there. You get a kit for about 30 dollars with a lip liner + a liquid lipstick and the quality is amazing. Compared to other matte liquid lipsticks I would say this one dries out your lips like any other would, but I find that others starts to bother me after a couple hours of wearing it and the Candy K doesn’t really bother me that much or almost at all.

So even though I’m not a hardcore fan, I have to give a 10 to Kylie for this one.

I hope you liked this post. If you have any recommendations or requests on what products to try in the future, feel free to leave it in the comment section below.

Have a lovely day,

yours truly.
